How to Use the Modern 4 Paycheck Stub Template

Here are the steps you’ll need to go through in order to fully customize and fill out the Modern 4 payroll stub template:

Step 1: Select the number of paystubs you’re going to need from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Enter the manner in which the person’s getting paid (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.).
Step 3: Choose whether the paycheck stub is being issued to an employee or a contractor.
Step 4: If you need to, activate the Deposit slip field.
Step 5: Choose whether the payment is hourly or salaried.
Step 6: Create your company abbreviations.
Step 9: Fill out the fields on the template itself – employee details, pay date, reporting period, gross earnings, hours worked, etc.
Step 10: Click on View Your Stub after you review the data that you’ve entered and the automatically calculated fields (like the deduction ones).
Step 11: If you’re happy with the results, click on Submit Information to have your pay stub generated.
